• The Common App, short for Common Application, is a college admissions platform that allows students to apply to multiple colleges at one time.  The platform itself is free to use, but every college charges their own application processing fee (usually $30 to $75 for U.S. applicants and more for international applicants). Applicants may submit the Common App to no more than 20 colleges in a single application cycle.  There are well over 1,000 colleges listed in Common App.

The Coalition for College is an American nonprofit organization that runs the Coalition Application, a U.S. college application platform.  The Coalition is made up of 170 top colleges and universities committed to improving access to higher education. Each of the member schools works to make college affordable and ensures students graduate on time.
